Vocalists-on-Tour

The young singers who are past or present holders of a GRADY-RAYAM PRIZE are icons for the “Negro Spiritual” Scholarship Foundation’s mission. We exist to find these amazing young stars and to help fund their dreams. In return, they dedicate long hours to learning, studying, practicing, and performing on our behalf. Proud as we are of their accomplishments, we are delighted whenever others can also experience and appreciate such an extraordinary level of talent. Our touring program allows us to present our vocalists to audiences large and small in communities throughout our state and beyond. Because they so love to sing, our young soloists have appeared in private homes, for convention or conference events, before civic groups, in church settings, for school programs, and with symphonies and choruses on concert stages everywhere. (One young man even sang outside in the early morning air – unaccompanied – to launch a huge golf tournament!) Presenting a GRADY-RAYAM PRIZE vocalist is one sure way to enhance your special gathering or event.
